The New Jersey Scout Museum is looking for your help. In honor of the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America this year and the upcoming 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts, the museum has set a goal to collect thousands of newspaper clipping. Our goal is to collect, scan, preserve and make available online a searchable index of newspaper articles that contain information about Boy & Girl Scouts in New Jersey. We are looking for any article having to do with Scouting in New Jersey, both new and especially old.
Articles can be emailed to [email protected] or sent by mail (articles will not be returned). Please make sure to include the date and name of the newspaper.
You could also help by sharing this with as many Scouts & Scouters as possible and help make sure that the memories and events for the last 100 years will live on for the next 100.
